Ryanair to start charging for use of prepaid cards

Posted on September 20th, 2011. Written by bookingbusinesstravel.

From the 1st November it seems Ryanair intends to charge £6 per flight per passenger for paying by any card online.

That amounts to a charge of £24 for two people booking a return trip.

The airline has announced that it will provide reimbursement in the form of £6 travel voucher(s) if they use the Ryanair Cash Passport card which is a prepaid card type.
