Wedding fly past route

It’s difficult to find details of the royal wedding flypast route so I thought I’d help…

The best places to see the wedding fly past in London will be around Bethnal Green, Hackney, the Festival Hall South Bank and Primrose Hill.

The Battle of Britain aircraft will leave Fairlop East London at 1325 and flyover Buckingham Palace 5 minutes later at 1330, and reach Hendon three minutes later

UPDATE: This article was posted for the Royal Wedding flypast – are you looking for details of the Queen’s birthday (June 2011) fly past? If so, see my full article here

The fast jets will start at Billericay at 1324 and flyover Buckingham Palace 30 seconds after the Lancaster Spitfire and Hurricane. They then route via Hendon to Brookmans Park (1234) and RAF Coningsby
